ISO 14001 is a specification standard for an environmental management system (EMS) that empowers organizations to develop robust, effective processes to enhance environmental performance, meet compliance obligations, and achieve environmental objectives.

Intertek Alchemy is an Exemplar Global Recognized Training Provider. Based on ISO 19011 audit guidance and principles, this course will prepare auditors to organize and lead EMS audits, evaluate systems for conformance with ISO 14001, and write accurate and actionable findings. Our training is also valuable for EHS personnel who implement and maintain their own management systems, and for consultants who perform this work for other organizations. Participants will participate in activities and case studies to reinforce the knowledge and skills acquired. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, participants will receive a Certificate of Attainment.

This is a four-day virtually led course starting 6/21/22 – 6/24/22.
Total course time is 32 hours spread out over four days.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites required for this course; however, we do ask that participants purchase a copy of the standard and study it prior to the course. Students will need a complete copy of the standard during the course and exam.
